I've been hearing about CouchSurfing for years, but I haven't been brave enough to try it... until now. I finally have an account and I'm hoping to give it a shot (with a friend) in Italy this October. If you're on the site, please add me as a friend -- my username is Brynzapoppin. I'm hoping this will be a great way to save money, meet people, and become better acquainted with the places I travel to.

I've always wanted to try, as a couch and as a surfer. I've only heard positive reports. I hope it goes well.
